Guild League (GvG)

The weekly cross-race guild tournament: who can enter, how to register a roster, the match schedule, match rules and the Aurum prize.

Who can enter

The Guild League runs every week. Each race first plays its own group stage, then the best guilds of all three races meet in a cross-race knockout. Every match is a guild battle with the usual gravity stone rules.

  • The guild must be grade 2 or higher and have a guild master.
  • Only the guild master can register, once per guild per week.
  • The roster must have exactly 20 characters: 15 players and 5 substitutes, all members of the guild and level 40 or higher.
  • One roster per account per week: a character already on another roster, or a second character from an account that is already on any roster, cannot be added.

Registering your roster

Open the league window with the chat command /league or the Guild League button on the Management page of the guild window. You can also open a page directly: /league registration, standings, knockout, schedule, prize or hall.

  • On the Registration page the guild master picks 20 members. The first 15 picked are the players and the next 5 are the substitutes. A member who cannot be picked shows the reason.
  • Submit roster becomes available with exactly 20 members picked. Registration is open on Sunday. You can edit the roster until Sunday 23:59 server time; after that, no replacement characters can be added for the week.
  • A roster character who leaves the guild, is expelled or is deleted during the week is removed without replacement and loses the prize and medal. A guild that disbands or loses its master withdraws and loses its remaining matches.
  • While registered, your guild cannot book normal guild battles starting between 19:00 and 22:00 from Monday to Saturday of the league week.

Weekly schedule

Times below are server time. Every match starts at the listed time and the join prompt arrives 10 minutes earlier. The league window shows times in your own local time.

  • Sunday 00:00 to 23:59: registration. At 23:59 rosters are locked, the week's prize pool is set and Monday's pairings are announced.
  • Monday to Wednesday 20:00: Swiss rounds 1 to 3 within each race. Each round is paired from the standings so far, with no rematches.
  • Thursday 20:00: race finals between the top two of each race. The winner becomes the race's 1st, the loser its 2nd, and both go to the knockout. The knockout draw is announced afterwards.
  • Friday 20:00, 20:45 and 21:30: knockout groups. Two groups of three, each with one guild of every race; every guild plays the other two, one match per wave.
  • Saturday 20:00: the final between the group winners and the 3rd-place match between the runners-up. Prizes and medals are given right after both matches.
  • Swiss standings award 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. Ties use opponents’ total points, then score difference, goals and kill points. With an odd number of guilds, one guild receives a bye, counted as a 0–0 win.
  • If a race has fewer than two qualifiers, the empty knockout places go to the next best guilds of the other races. With fewer than six guilds in the week, the knockout is played as one group; with fewer than two guilds there is no league that week.

Match day

League matches follow the normal guild battle rules: 30 minutes of play, the gravity stone, 100 points per goal, 10 points per kill and the same limits for the stone carrier and for items. The differences are listed below.

  • The join prompt arrives 10 minutes before your match: 19:50 for a 20:00 start, or 20:35 and 21:20 for the later Friday waves. Choose Yes. At match time, joined players move to a private arena chosen at random for the two rosters.
  • Missed the prompt? Use Join match on the Schedule page of the league window until the match ends.
  • At most 15 roster players are in the field at once; substitutes join while places are free. Logging out keeps your place, and logging back in returns you to the match.
  • A side with fewer than 5 roster players in the field when play starts loses by walkover, 0-0.
  • Play starts after a 60-second warm-up. Fallen players revive automatically after 15 seconds at their team's start point. Portals, return items and recalls cannot take you out of the field.
  • Draws stand in Swiss rounds and Friday group matches. A drawn race final, final or 3rd-place match goes to sudden death: one extra round of up to 10 minutes where the first goal wins, then kill points, then a coin toss.

Rewards and Aurum prize

The week's prize pool is 60% of the week's treasury budget, set on Sunday at 23:59 and shown on the Prize page all week. It is split 50% to 1st place, 30% to 2nd and 20% to 3rd.

  • Each placed guild's share is divided equally in Aurum among its eligible roster players: still on the roster, still in the guild and with at least one knockout appearance on Friday or Saturday.
  • An appearance counts if you were in the field at the end of play or for more than half of the play time. A walkover win is not an appearance.
  • Aurum is added to your Valorix wallet seconds after the result. Your game account must be linked to a Valorix account; an unlinked account's share is not paid and returns to the treasury, as do rounding remainders.
  • Every match also pays the guild battle contribution (PvP) points (2,000 win, 500 draw, 100 loss) and the Symbol of Warrior, with the same attendance rules. League matches pay no Gold and do not count toward the guild battle ranking.
  • Roster players of the top three guilds wear a gold, silver or bronze medal on their name tag for one week.
  • The Hall of Fame page lists past champions, each week's top goal scorer and top killer, and league records.
